Gayle J. Carson, J.D. (of Counsel)
It takes a multitude of skills and assets in order to fully encompass, grasp, and fulfill the title ‘Attorney’. Gayle Carson, J.D. has mastered the trade and puts her knowledge to use for the Law Firm of ‘Bezaire, Ledwitz & Associates, APC. This office specializes in Wills, Trusts, Probate Law, and Estate Litigation. It is known to be “Southern California’s most comprehensive Estate and Family Legacy Law Firm.” (Newsweek, 2011)
Gayle Carson received her B.A. from Ohio State University in International Studies. It wasn’t until she started her undergraduate work at Ohio State when the idea to study law entered her head. “My Life in Court, by Louis Nizer, really fascinated me,’ says Carson, ‘it wasn’t until after reading [it] the idea of studying law came about.” With this and the help of a fellow colleague, she decided to pursue a career in law and attend law school.
After graduating from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law, she owned an Estate Planning and Probate Administration Law Firm in Cleveland, Ohio for more than 25 years. After selling her Ohio practice, she moved to Naples, Florida, and became licensed as an attorney in Florida in 2005. Throughout the years Carson has accomplished the unimaginable and is now licensed in three states: Ohio, Florida, and now California.
“Each state does everything differently,’ Carson explains, ‘the structure in California is more intense.” Carson is the Manager of the Long Beach office of Bezaire Ledwitz and Associates and is the Senior Probate Attorney handling all of the Firm’s Probate Administrations. She is very excited about what the future holds for her. She is a resident of San Pedro and is active in the Long Beach Bar Association, San Pedro Assistance League and the Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club.
Samuel B. Lewitz, J.D., LL.M. is the Managing Partner for the Law Firm, “Being able to work with Sam has been phenomenal, he is such a great guy,” Carson states, ‘I couldn’t ask for a kinder work atmosphere – honestly the best boss that I’ve ever had!”
With a focus on; Trusts, Probate Law, and Estate Litigation, this allows the Firm to effectively address all types of matters, from straightforward Estate Planning issues to sophisticated wealth transfer techniques, tax planning strategies, and, Estate Litigation. While this is their primary focus, the Firm handles all matters concerning Estate Planning Law.
The Attorneys at the firm demonstrate their understanding of the very complex area of Estate Planning Law.. Further, Bezaire, Ledwitz & Associates, APC builds upon decades of legal practice and tradition. This practice does not try to present a ‘façade’ as to why people should choose them; they stand on their experience, accomplishments and credentials. There are multiple staff members with advanced degrees in several states. Few law firms have a solid track record along with a combination of education and experience. From state sales to veteran benefits, the practice has a depth of expertise that honestly and truly brings a whole new meaning to ‘going the extra mile.’
